Book Review: The Quarry by Iain Banks

Sadly The Quarry is the last book Iain Banks ever wrote, and it is certainly a very poignant read. Little Brother by Cory Doctorow [Book Review]

;Little Brother by Cory Doctorow My rating: 4 of 5 stars I've been following Cory Doctorow for a while. Little Brother has been sitting on my shelves waiting to make it to the top of the list. I'm very happy that it finally made it to the top of the reading pile. It was a quick and easy read that I enjoyed. Free Future Thriller on Kindle

Yes, I'm doing another giveaway of my first novella, Exodus: Mike's Thread which is a thrilling tale of a military conspiracy to prevent a mad US President from launching a nuclear Here's the blurb "World War Z meets 24 in Book Form!" - reviewer An action packed military sci-fi novella centring around an army officer telling the story of a military coup occasioned by a religious US president who has maniacal plans for the country's nuclear weapons. Set in the mid 21st Century. People that vote are alienating themselves from science, and voting for the more religious right candidates. This has lead to some strange and unhelpful policies being adopted. As this trend continues some of the more rational and evidence based in government start to look for ways to reverse the trend. When the US President loses it and…
